Sharbani Das Gupta participated in Gate 44’s Art Residency program in 2024, aiming to gain a deeper understanding of the technical aspects of printmaking, particularly through the mastery of photopolymer etching processes. Her time at the residency was intensely focused on technical application, spanning from initial file preparation and printer outputs, through plate development, all the way to the final printing stage on the press.
