ANCORA TU, COLAZIONE DA BETH, and AMBISINISTRO were created by Matisse Mesnil in our studio in 2025 for the Romero Paprocki gallery. The works were presented in April 2025 during Miart, Milan’s contemporary art fair. Continuing his exploration of soldering techniques, Mesnil developed these large-scale pieces using a distinctive method that allows him to “draw” directly onto the metal surface, further enriched with UV prints applied to the plates. Through this process, the artist expresses his poetic narrative, capturing moments of everyday life on the unconventional “canvas” of metal.
