Allie Webb is an Australian artist celebrated for her unique approach to traditional printmaking and painting. Working from observation and memory of still-life, portraits and interiors, Webb explores everyday rituals in both domestic and social settings.
Allie has held several solo exhibitions at Sydney’s Olsen Gallery including ‘Stories from the City, 2024’, ‘Tablescapes, 2022’ and ‘Midsummer’s Night, 2019’ as well as ‘After Dark, 2017’ at China Heights Gallery. She has participated in many group exhibitions both in her native Australia and abroad, most recently Art at Kings Oaks, 2024 in the US. In 2023 her work ‘Still Life with Giant Crab’ was awarded the works on paper at Muswellbrook Art Prize.
Art Residency – 2024
In 2024, Allie Webb participated in the artist residency at Gate 44. During this time, she explored the sugar-lift etching technique, which enabled her to develop a new visual language within her work. By the end of the residency, Allie had produced an edition of six prints across five distinct subjects.
